Literacy - Letter Recognition, Writing, Word Patterns
For kinder literacy, children will build a strong foundation in English through a Christ-centered curriculum. The program emphasizes phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and basic phonics skills to promote confident reading. Students will engage with age-appropriate Bible stories and literature that nurture vocabulary development, comprehension, and critical thinking. Writing skills will be introduced through fun activities like tracing, letter formation, and simple sentence construction. Through this approach, children will develop a love for language and learning grounded in Christian values.
Math (Shapes and Pattern Recognition)
In our kindergarten math program, children will explore foundational concepts through hands-on activities and engaging lessons that align with Christian values. They will deepen their understanding of numbers, patterns, shapes, and measurements, while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This curriculum integrates biblical principles to inspire a love for learning and encourages young learners to see the order and beauty of God's creation through math. Topics include advanced counting, simple addition and subtraction, recognizing geometric shapes, comparing sizes, and beginning to tell time, all taught in a nurturing and faith-based environment.
Science & Nature Discovery
Through our science curriculum, young learners engage in hands-on, interactive experiences that make science exciting and accessible. They conduct guided experiments that ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking about the natural world. From observing plant growth and animal behavior to understanding weather patterns, children build a foundational knowledge of how God’s creation works. This approach nurtures both their intellectual and spiritual growth, helping them develop a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature and a lifelong passion for exploration and learning.
Social Studies
Your kinder student will explore foundational concepts about community, family, and the world through a biblical lens. Lessons will focus on developing an understanding of God’s creation, the importance of kindness, respect, and responsibility, and the roles people play in society. Students will learn about historical figures and events that reflect Christian values, as well as basic geography and cultural awareness. Engaging activities encourage critical thinking, character building, and an early appreciation for diverse people and traditions, all while fostering a love for learning rooted in faith.
Emotional Development
Emotional development in your kinder student will be nurtured by teaching children to recognize and express their feelings in healthy, constructive ways. The program emphasizes understanding God’s love and applying biblical principles such as kindness, patience, and forgiveness in everyday interactions. Children learn to develop empathy, self-control, and resilience while building strong relationships with family and peers. Through stories, guided discussions, and reflective activities, students grow in emotional awareness and character, laying a foundation for lifelong emotional well-being rooted in faith.
