Overview

The preschool year doesn’t follow a formal, structured curriculum like the later years do. Instead, it gently encourages early learning and growth—both academic and spiritual—during the important years before kids typically start school around age six. This time is key for sparking curiosity, building social skills, and laying a foundation of understanding in a warm and supportive setting.

Subjects Highlighted

Literacy - Letter Recognition, Early Writing, Word Patterns
In our early learning program, preschoolers will happily learn to recognize all uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet. They'll enjoy fun, hands-on activities that help them practice forming letters, while also developing their fine motor skills and getting ready for handwriting. Our early literacy lessons focus on exploring letter families and common word patterns, making it easier for little learners to sound out words and build a solid foundation for reading. This warm, supportive approach helps kids grow both letter recognition and phonemic awareness, setting them up for a lifelong love of reading—and giving them the skills to read the most important book, the Bible.

Math (Shapes and Pattern Recognition)
In our math portion of this education program, students will have fun learning to recognize and classify all kinds of shapes, boosting their confidence with hands-on activities. They’ll also get a gentle introduction to noticing colors and textures as they explore the wonderful variety found in God’s creation. This way, we not only help sharpen their observation skills but also encourage a deeper love for the natural world around them. Plus, children will be guided to spot and enjoy patterns that show God’s order, helping them see how math, nature, and His stories beautifully connect.

Science & Nature Discovery
Preschoolers get to dive into fun, hands-on activities that bring science to life in exciting ways. They’ll explore simple experiments with guidance, sparking their natural curiosity and encouraging them to ask lots of questions about the world around them. This early adventure helps them understand how things work—whether it’s watching plants grow, spotting animals, or learning about the weather. Along the way, children grow a heartfelt appreciation for God’s wonderful creation, inspiring a love for learning and discovering new things.

Social Studies
In our Bible-centered learning approach, preschoolers will explore social studies and history through simple, relatable stories that connect biblical teachings with the world they know. The curriculum warmly introduces concepts like family roles, important holidays, and cultural traditions—all through a biblical perspective focused on love and service toward others. This approach helps little ones start to understand their place in God’s story while appreciating different communities and historical events with a scriptural outlook.

Emotional Development
Preschoolers will grow in their social and emotional skills by learning about God's love and how it shapes our friendships and families. Through fun Bible stories, they will discover the importance of kindness, patience, forgiveness, and humility. They learn to understand and share their feelings in a truthful way, develop empathy by seeing others as God's special creations, and practice sharing, working together, and solving problems peacefully with the help of Scripture. They will also experience the joy of praying for others; this loving foundation supports them as they become caring, confident kids who shine with Christ’s love.
